German-Ukrainian Fund to hold the First Financial Fair for Small and Medium Businesses in Kyiv
4 April 2017 is the date for the First Financial Fair for Small and Medium Businesses, which is to be held in Ukrainian House on 2 Khreschatyk Street. The fair is being organised by the German-Ukrainian Fund (GAF) with the support of the German and Ukrainian Governments. The event is free to attend but advance registration is required at sme-fair.org.ua.
The fair will help attendees to learn about business funding opportunities and will bring together 20 financial institutions that are willing to work closely with SMEs. Also on the agenda are sectoral and training sessions that will be delivered by business experts. Over 20 speakers will talk about their experience in:
Supporting domestic producers The A to Z of export potential International and donor SME-support programmes Alternative funding sources Development opportunities for agricultural businesses IT opportunities for SME development Energy efficiency Training for development The fair is being organised and implemented by the GAF, which has been successfully promoting micro, small and medium enterprises in Ukraine for the last 20 years. It is the Fund’s strategic priority to strengthen SMEs, as they form the cornerstone of successful, sustainable national economic development.
