ProCredit Bank in Ukraine: Unique Training Scheme in Ukraine – the ProCredit Young Bankers Programme

On 24 May 2012, at 09:30, the LigaBusinessInform news agency press centre (23 T. Shamrylo St., Kyiv) will host a press conference by the management of ProCredit Bank in Ukraine titled: Unique Training Scheme in Ukraine - the ProCredit Young Bankers Programme.

During the press conference, the Chairman of the Board of ProCredit Bank, Dr. Philipp Pott and Vice Chairman Viktor Ponomarenko will hold an open dialogue to provide detailed information on the results of the first year of the programme and future plans.

In June 2011, ProCredit Bank inaugurated the Young Bankers Programme (YBP) in Ukraine. The first class has already graduated and two more groups are currently undergoing training in our new training centre.

ProCredit Bank has a unique opportunity for people with experience (not just in the banking sector) and recent graduates to immerse themselves in the banking way of life, acquire practical skills, learn about different areas of banking operations – and discover if they would like to work in the bank. Participation in the Young Bankers Programme offers such an opportunity.

The programme involves a six-month training course in Kiev. During training, participants are provided with accommodation and receive a monthly stipend. The bank will also reimburse travel expenses to participants who come from other cities.

The bank will offer a job to those graduates who successfully complete the programme. The graduates will be able to put their new-found knowledge into practice by joining the team of ProCredit Bank.
