ProCredit Bank opens a new branch with automated cash handling in Kyiv
On 30 January ProCredit Bank officially launched a new branch which. offers innovative self-service 24/7 Zone solutions unique in the Ukrainian market. The opening of this branch has a special meaning for the Bank as it completes the process of moving all cash operations to the self-service 24/7 Zones. The branch is located at 24, Velyka Vasylkivska Street.
As part of the ProCredit group, ProCredit Bank has always offered high-quality services and innovative solutions. The transition to cashless payment services is part of the group’s strategy. In addition, the continuous exchange of experience within the group helps us keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in the industry.
The opening ceremony was attended by Dr Claus-Peter Zeitinger, Chairperson of the Supervisory Board and representative of the parent company ProCredit Holding AG & Co. KGaA, senior executives of the banks in the ProCredit group, the management of ProCredit Bank Ukraine, and business customers of the bank.
“Like all other banks in the group, we will promote the development of cashless payments. In almost all transactions we have already made the transition from branches to self-service zones and online banking. Our staff still offer advice to customers and sign contracts but no longer handle cash transactions. In every major city, however, we have one branch to handle cash transactions that cannot be made in the self-service areas. There is a level playing field for all our clients. All necessary transactions can be made either online or in a self-service zone. We understand that many bank customers are used to making transactions in cash, but we want to change this approach. Let’s consider transferring a deposit from one bank to another as an example. A customer goes to a branch, withdraws a deposit, physically carries the money to another bank and once again makes a deposit into a bank account via a cash desk. An operation like this can be made in the form of a non-cash payment,” said General Manager Victor Ponomarenko.
Our efforts are based on thorough preparation, which requires considerable investments in hardware and software, functionality development, the introduction of new technological solutions, the commissioning of innovative equipment, a review of processes, and training. In the last year we have equipped all of our branches with comfortable, safe and multifunctional 24/7 Zones, which allow us to eliminate cash transactions in the customer service area. Every 24/7 Zone is equipped with:
Cash accepting ATM, which both business clients and private individuals can use to withdraw or deposit cash, or pay in up to UAH 25,000 with a ProCredit Bank payment card. Electronic deposit safe, which lets you pay up to UAH 150,000 into an account that you hold at ProCredit Bank. It is ideal if you need to deposit large amounts of money, as the counting process is very rapid. Safety deposit box – a unique service for legal entities, allowing them to quickly and safely pay up to UAH 700,000 in cash into their accounts (sales revenue, etc.). The funds are credited to the account on the following day at the latest. In order to use this service, you need to register for it at the bank with one of our Client Advisers. You will receive a key and personalised packages for depositing cash. Internet banking terminal, which allows private individuals to make all transactions in personal accounts via the Internet banking system and print bank statements or deposit agreements. Wi-Fi zone for speedy access to Internet banking. ProCredit Bank clients already value the safety, comfort and speed of cash handling through our highly sophisticated banking services. By opting for ProCredit Bank, our customers obtain services at favourable terms from a reliable German bank.
