XXth New German Cinema Festival

Today, the Goethe Institute Cultural Centre and the Arthouse Traffic Company are opening the XXth New German Cinema Festival in Ukraine. ProCredit Bank is proud to be a reliable partner of the festival for the third consecutive year. Some of the best works of German cinema created during the last year will be introduced at the festival. There are six movies which have already been acclaimed by European audiences and which will be shown in Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv, L''viv, Dnipropetrovsk and Chernivtsi.

The New German Cinema Festival opens in Kyiv with the film “Super Ego”. This is a comedy by director Benjamin Heisenberg about a young swindler, Nick, who accidentally gets hired to nurse a famous psychologist. Benjamin Heisenberg himself will visit Ukraine for the first time and personally present his film to Ukrainian audiences.
